Seems reasonable though the result of Benita at the 3rd round looks bad compared to that of Irina. The big question is where the votes for Ivonne would go - to Faruk or to Benita?

  2. Remember, if there is not a majority in the fourth round, only the two leading candidates will be included in the fifth round.

Remember, too, that the delegates are not just individuals voting their personal preferences, but representatives following the instructions of their governments, which may be based on geopolitical considerations.

This is a fascinating horse race!

3 women vs. one man. Vote for a woman !

    Which one?

But will any of the four ensure good management in UNESCO? Advancement of Human Rights? Serious contribution to the MDGs? Strikes me as if we have four individuals out there looking for a new job. But not coming with much of a vision or qualification in exchange.
